- Provided input for development of Medicaid regulations for funding augmentative communication devices in the state of Ohio
- Helped families secure funding for high tech power wheelchair systems
- Has provided technology consulting for over 50 schools and agencies in the Greater Cincinnati area and beyond
- Site of specialized programs of the National United Cerebral Palsy Associations
A Community Resource
During 1997, over 300 community professionals and health-care providers received training and technical assistance provided by The Perlman Center. Because of its high credibility in the community and beyond, Perlman is sought out as a valuable community resource.
Perlman collaborates with most school districts in the Greater Cincinnati area to support the technology and physical access needs of children who are school age. Hundreds of thousands of dollars of necessary technology equipment is secured each year for children served by The Perlman Center.
