Helmut R. Roehrig, PhD, has practiced as a clinical psychologist since 1997.

Dr. Roehrig earned his MA in Clinical Psychology at Xavier University in 1992 and earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology, with a subspecialty in Child Psychology, at the University of Southern Mississippi in 1996.

He completed his internship and postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Child / Pediatric Psychology at the University of Louisville in 1996 and 1997, respectively.

Upon completion of his postdoctoral fellowship, Dr. Roehrig joined a multispecialty pediatric practice in Louisville, KY, where he conducted initial diagnostic evaluations, psychological assessments, pediatric consultations, and served as the primary therapist for children, adolescents and their families.

Dr. Roehrig also coordinated a comprehensive Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) evaluation program for the practice.

Dr. Roehrig has served as an adjunct faculty member at Bellarmine College, where he taught psychology at the undergraduate level and was a graduate student instructor in the psychology department at the University of Southern Mississippi.

Dr. Roehrig, a native Cincinnatian, joined Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in November 1999 and works at the main campus in HealthWorks! and the Comprehensive Weight Management Center.
