Referrals
Referrals to the Bone Marrow Failure Clinic at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center can be made one of two ways:
- A physician may contact us with a referral
- The family may call or email the team
If a family contacts the team directly, the team will then speak with the physician caring for the child to confirm the referral and to obtain additional clinical information.
The team will ask the referring physician to provide a patient summary, copies of laboratory and radiology reports, bone marrow slides and possibly radiology films prior to the child's first visit to the clinic.
