Richard Harris, MD, founder of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, is nationally recognized for performing blood and marrow transplants in patients with Fanconi anemia (FA).
Frank Smith, MD, division director of hematology / oncology at Cincinnati Children's, is recognized for his specialty in the field of acute myeloid leukemia and cord blood transplantation. Each of the three physicians have been caring for Fanconi anemia patients from throughout the US for more than 20 years.
Together, Dr. Harris and Dr. Smith are leading a team of caring experts at the multidisciplinary Fanconi Anemia Comprehensive Care Center.
