Exceptional Facilities

At Cincinnati Children’s, our facilities are designed around the needs of patients and their families. Our Leukemia and Lymphoma Program has a specialized inpatient unit and a dedicated pediatric blood and marrow transplant unit with a total of 48 beds. This includes a pediatric radiopharmaceutical therapy suite, where physicians can administer novel radiobiologic therapies safely.

Located on the same floor of the hospital is our outpatient clinic. There, patients and families can come for follow-up appointments and diagnostic testing.

Within the clinic is a dedicated outpatient procedure room, where doctors perform diagnostic and therapeutic lumbar punctures, bone marrow studies and other procedures, under general anesthesia if needed. This allows patients to receive specialized therapies in the comfortable surroundings of our outpatient clinic rather than having to travel to another area of the hospital.

Across the hall, our Day Hospital provides similar benefits. There, patients can receive many infusional therapies, such as chemotherapy. This facility provides the same high level of care available on an inpatient basis, but allows patients and families to return home at night. Amenities such as DVD players and Internet access help pass the time.

We also offer an outpatient leukemia clinic at Cincinnati Children’s new Liberty Campus.
