The Cancer Survivor Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center accepts referrals from families and physicians. Prior to setting up the first appointment, our experienced oncology nurses work with families and referring physicians to obtain a detailed medical history, copies of laboratory and radiology reports, and other helpful materials. They then create a summary for the patient to take home as a helpful reference. Obtaining all of this information also allows the care team to plan the first appointment and ensure that all appropriate specialists are available to see the patient that day.
