The Immune Deficiency and Histiocytosis Program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center conducts clinical and laboratory research related to a number of immune deficiencies, including:
Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH)
Autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome (ALPS)
X-linked lymphoproliferative syndrome 1 and 2 (XLP 1 and 2)
These studies help identify genetic causes of immune deficiencies, advance our understanding of immune deficiency disorders and help physicians provide patients with the most up-to-date treatment protocols.
