At Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, we offer extensive resources for patients and families dealing with cancer, blood diseases and immune disorders. Our care team is here to assist you at every turn. This means making sure you understand your child’s diagnosis and therapy options, easing the stress of hospital visits, telling you about additional resources, and providing comfort and hope in the midst of sometimes difficult situations.
Additional Resources for Families
The Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute care team is always looking for better ways to serve families who come to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center for their child’s care. We created the Family Support Network to bring together a number of related services for our families, including Child Life, School Intervention Program, Pastoral Care, Financial Services and others. We also provide a number of publications, including family handbooks and newsletters, and host an annual summer camp for our patients and their siblings. Our goal is to support you in whatever way we can.
