May cause vaginal discharge. Some infections are asymptomatic.
TransmissionThis organism is most often seen in sexually active women but has been found in girls and women who have had no sexual contact and have not been sexually abused.
Diagnostic TestsIdentification is made by microscopic analysis, bacterial culture and by other methods.
