How You Can Help

Children admitted into Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center receive the finest medical treatment, emotional support and loving care available anywhere. However, children and families in the hospital have other special needs that are met through the generosity of individuals and organizations throughout Greater Cincinnati.

Gifts of toys, service projects, handmade items, gift of time and more can go a long way towards brightening a hospital stay.

The Child Life Division at Cincinnati Children's has provided some suggestions on how you can help:

Donations -- Toys and other items

  • Download our suggested items / wish list for gifts-in-kind donations
  • The patient population includes many infants and toddlers. Please avoid toys that have small, chokeable, sharp pieces; toys that fall apart easily; and toys with detachable parts (like button ears) that can be removed, swallowed or inhaled. For additional safety guidelines, see Toy and Gift Safety Guidelines.

Where to Bring Donations

Donations may be left at the Location B Welcome Center in the hospital's main lobby. Please attach your name and address to your donation or complete a Gifts-in-Kind Donation Form, as we would love to acknowledge your generosity.
