Five Patients Embark on Pop Odyssey
Five lucky patients at Children's Hospital Medical Center of Cincinnati enjoyed a day with *N Sync beginning Friday, June 8, 2001, thanks to a donation from Verizon Wireless, a sponsor of the *N SYNC Pop Odyssey Tour.
The patients, joined by their parents, got passes to a sound check, party, dinner and the concert.
One recipient said, "I'm so excited. I can't believe [Cincinnati Children's and Verizon] gave me the chance to see *N Sync in person."
Although the patients were not face-to-face with the band, they had a chance to take first-hand pictures during the sound check with their free disposable cameras and got terrific seats for the concert.
