Cerebral Palsy Study for Children 4 to 12

The Cerebral Palsy Clinic in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center provides ongoing interdisciplinary assessment and treatment of children with cerebral palsy. The clinic's goal is to provide quality care and support to children and their families living with cerebral palsy through the following:

  • Interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals 
  • Diagnostic Evaluation
  • Long-term treatment ensuring continuity of care and help with child's transitions throughout life
  • Effective collaboration with the Transition Clinic and Outreach Programs, providing services as children enter into their adult lives
  • Service Coordination
    • Program offered by the Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps (BCMH) for children seen at the Cerebral Palsy Clinic including case management to families living in Ohio
    • Assist families in identifying their concerns, priorities and resources regarding their child with special needs
    • Help families receive the services and resources that fit their child and family
  • Education and information through the following:
    • Service coordination
    • Jack H. Rubinstein Library, which encompasses a professional research library, a unique toy lending library and a parent library
