Bio
Dawn Rothchild, RN, started her nursing career at Doctor's Hospital North in Columbus, Ohio in 1988. Her area of expertise was high-risk obstetrics. In 1993 Rothchild moved to Cincinnati and began her master's program in perinatal health. During the program, she took a nursing genetics course, which led her to complete a genetic nursing internship and get a degree in genetic nursing.
Rothchild has worked in the Division of Human Genetics at Cincinnati Children's with clinical projects and craniofacial case management.
She is a volunteer clinical navigator in the Hereditary Cancer program assisting patients with certain genetic mutations through the maze of treatment options. Her case management for craniofacial patients has led her to her current position in Plastic Surgery at Cincinnati Children's.
