Overview
The Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Team at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center has extensive training in evaluating and treating congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH). Congenital diaphragmatic hernia is a serious, complex disease. Expert care and the coordination of treatment that is required for CDH patients can be difficult for families and their doctors to obtain. That is why we have formed a multidisciplinary team of dedicated specialists to address this condition.

In addition to overseeing the medical management of these patients, we participate in the international diaphragmatic hernia registry and conduct clinical studies.
Team members involved in the multidisciplinary care these infants and families receive include specialists in newborn intensive care, pediatric surgery, nursing, respiratory therapy, nutrition and occupational therapy/physical therapy.
