Collaboration
The Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics Division at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center works with the dental section of the Cincinnati Health Department to provide dental screenings for all second grade children in the Cincinnati Public School system. The screenings are offered as part of a program to provide free dental sealants at each school for all eligible second graders.
We also provide staff support for the Craniofacial Clinic at Cincinnati Shriners Hospital, as well as for patients that have received facial burns involving the perioral area.
Our department provides 24-hour assistance in the Emergency Department and is always available for consults for in-house patients. We also have a very close working relationship with the following clinics:
This is part of an ongoing effort to provide the most comprehensive care for all patients, helping to improve overall health.
