Craniofacial Abnormalities

Children born with head and facial abnormalities require care from many specialists. The Craniofacial Team, managed by the Division of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, brings those specialties together. The team's role is to recommend a comprehensive treatment plan that meets the child's healthcare needs.

For more information about the Craniofacial Center, please contact Iris Sageser (iris.sageser@cchmc.org), Craniofacial Center administrator, 513-636-4539.

Children with Complex Conditions

Cincinnati Children's is nationally and internationally recognized for care of children with complicated medical, physical, and mental conditions. The Division of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics offers dental care for all special patients, be it antibiotic coverage for cardiac conditions or immunosuppression, care for children receiving chemotherapy, infusing missing clotting factors to allow hemophiliacs to have teeth removed, or spending extra time with those who are mentally challenged.
