Bio

Dr. Erwin G. Turner, DMD, is Professor and Residency Director of Pediatric Dentistry at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Turner received his undergraduate, dental and pediatric dentistry postgraduate training at the University of Kentucky, and has spent his professional career in both private practice and academics. His clinical interests focus on the management of dental diseases, disorders and anomalies in children, specifically hospital dentistry and syndromology. Dr. Turner's research interests include the study of Dentoalveolar Trauma involving the pediatric dental patient as well as pediatric oral hard and soft tissue manifestations and pathology.

Dr. Turner is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Additionally, he is a member of the Editorial Board for the Pediatric Dentistry Journal and serves as a consultant regarding Pediatric Dentistry for the Commission on Dental Accreditation. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and currently serves as a director and president.
