The following are questions frequently asked by parents of patients at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

How old should my child be for his / her first dental appointment at Cincinnati Children's?

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that your child's first dental visit be scheduled when the teeth first erupt or by the first birthday at the latest. Information is offered at the first visit that will allow you to raise a cavity-free child.

Cincinnati Children's accepts patients ranging in age from birth to 14 years old.

We welcome special patients.

If my dentist is not available, will you see my child for a dental emergency?

You may bring your child for an evaluation to the Emergency Department, any time during the day or night.

Please call 513-636-4200 and ask for the dentist on call for any questions that you may have about your child's dental emergency.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we have a counselor who can create an individualized plan for you. Please call Terri Pollard, 513-636-5939, after you have visited our office.
