Overview
At Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, the Dermatology Division welcomes referrals of children with congenital or acquired disorders related to the skin, hair and nails.
Diseases such as acne and atopic dermatitis are managed with programs for long-term treatment. Congenital disorders that are evaluated and managed in collaboration with other specialties at Cincinnati Children's.

Acute disorders such as tinea, scabies, warts, as well as viral and bacterial infections can often be diagnosed within the clinic setting, and programs of therapy begun promptly.
The department also works with the Hemangioma and Vascular Malformation Center at Cincinnati Children's, an interdisciplinary group of pediatric specialists who collaborate in the evaluation, management, and emotional support of patients with hemangiomas and vascular malformations.
