Overview
The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Developmental Assessment Team for Infants and Toddlers (DATIT) at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is an interdisciplinary team of professionals who offer a play-based developmental assessment to infants and toddlers, birth to 2 years. This arena assessment allows the professionals to observe and interact with the child within a natural environment. The team includes a developmental pediatrician, a physical therapist and a nurse practitioner.
Selected members of the DATIT team consult with staff of Cincinnati Children's who care for hospitalized infants and toddlers. A developmental consultation, with recommendations for developmental interventions as needed, can be requested.
