The Diabetes Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is dedicated to providing the highest level of comprehensive care to patients diagnosed with diabetes. The diabetes team seeks to advance medical treatment and diabetes prevention through patient care, education and research.
Multidisciplinary Approach to Care
The Diabetes Center consists of a multidisciplinary staff that includes physicians, certified nurse practitioners, dietitians, social workers, nurse educators, clinical nurses and a large support staff.
We actively involve patients and families in our quality improvement efforts by working together as a team to identify concerns and solutions from the perspective of the patient and family. We offer a comprehensive education program that includes monthly "product night updates," joint community-wide events and various support groups.
The Division of Endocrinology at Cincinnati Children's offers a comprehensive range of evaluation and treatment programs for infants, children and adolescents with a variety of conditions.
