The Rapid Acting Insulin Bolus Calculation Sheet is a tool to assist families of children on basal bolus insulin therapy to calculate the dose of rapid acting insulin to cover carbohydrates and blood glucose above target. By filling in the blanks on the calculation sheet with the appropriate information, the family is able to determine the rapid acting insulin dose.
