Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Services Overview
The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center offers comprehensive expert evaluations to identify the child's strengths and provide the groundwork for a unique family-centered care plan.
Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics professionals include speech pathologists, nurses, nutritionists, developmental and behavioral pediatricians and neurodevelopmental disability-trained pediatricians, psychologists, social workers, child life specialists, special educators, and other related specialists. These specialists help evaluate the child's, adolescent's or young adult's needs and strengths and address developmental or behavioral problems or concerns.
Members of these teams work with the family in developing a plan to help the child reach his / her full potential. In many cases, Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics staff works closely with other professionals at Cincinnati Children's and community organizations to provide individualized recommendations for ongoing care.
