Family Support and Educational Programs

The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics offers family-centered support, discussion groups, and educational programs to families whose children have known or suspected developmental delays or disabilities, as well as learning or behavior problems.

The outreach department is in association with many family-driven local organizations like The Parent Group Collaborative of Greater Cincinnati, who’s mission is to promote the value of collaboration to address the many common needs of individuals, families and children living with developmental disabilities. They hold an annual respite speed - interviewing event and advocate for adult healthcare improvements for those with special needs. Respite and day care information for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center can be found at the Special Needs Resource Directory. Contact Amy Clawson, Family Support Coordinator at 513-636-4723 for more information.

For a current listing of educational programs for families, please see the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics calendar.
