Bio

Shannon Eidman, BA, is a Behavior Specialist at the Kelly O'Leary Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

In January 2002, Eidman joined the center to provide community-based consultation to assist schools in the development of Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans for children diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. In addition, she provides a variety of trainings in the community related to autism and behavior management, and assists with in-clinic treatment of children exhibiting significant behavioral difficulties.

Eidman came to Cincinnati Children's from the Kennedy Krieger Institute at Johns Hopkins University, where she worked for five years, specializing in the behavioral assessment and treatment of persons with developmental disabilities and severe behavior disorders. While working at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, she completed her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Towson University. Currently, Shannon is a Doctoral candidate in the School Psychology Program at the University of Cincinnati.
