Bio
Teri Messerschmidt, MA, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist at The Kelly O'Leary Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. She works to provide speech and language assessment, treatment and community consultation services to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. She has developed co-treatment services with occupational therapy as well as social-communication groups in order to better serve children with autism.
Teri received her master's in speech pathology from the University of Cincinnati. She has specialized in assessment and treatment of children with autism spectrum disorders for the past seven years. Her training consists of a wide variety of treatment approaches, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), TEACCH, Greenspan, Miller Method and Sensory Integration therapy.
