Bio
Amy Clawson is the Family Support Coordinator for the Outreach and Community Education Department in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (DDBP) at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
In May 2005, Amy joined DDBP’s Outreach Department to collaborate with families of children with developmental disabilities, the agencies, and support groups in the community who serve children and families, and to improve access to resources, support, and information available to families.
Amy came to DDBP from the Cincinnati Children’s Family Advisory Council, where she served as co-chair and was the first paid parent in the medical center, specializing in family-centered care.
Amy serves on the Parent Group Collaborative of Greater Cincinnati, the Parenting Coalition of Hamilton County, Co-Chair of the Patient/Family Care Notebook Steering Committee, and is the Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome family liaison.
