Bio
Donna Murray, PhD, CCC-SLP, Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, is the Director of Treatment at The Kelly O'Leary Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
In July 2001, Dr. Murray joined Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and The Kelly O'Leary Center to develop multidisciplinary treatment programs, and community based support for children with autism spectrum disorders. In her position as Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, she will develop a graduate level course, develop student practicum experiences, and continue research in the area of autism spectrum disorders.
Dr. Murray came to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center after many years as an autism consultant and speech-language pathologist. She was the co-director of a large community based speech-language pathology clinic before opening her private practice in 1996. Dr. Murray has developed treatment programs, community based support, training and workshops in the area of autism spectrum disorders. Dr. Murray is past Co-President of the Autism Society of Greater Cincinnati, and continues to serve as a board member to that organization.

Research
Dr. Murray completed research involving face / name recognition, play in a sibling pair in which one child was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder, joint attention and language in children with autism spectrum disorder, and the effects of secretin as a treatment in autism spectrum disorder.

Dr. Murray is a frequent presenter on issues surrounding autism and pervasive developmental disorders at local, state and national conferences and currently serves on the editorial board of Focus on Autism and Other Developmental Disabilities.
