Earl G. Siegel, PharmD, is a Professor of Emergency Medicine and Pharmacology and Toxicology and co-director of the Cincinnati Drug and Poison Information Center.
In addition to having over 25 years experience in teaching and lecturing on multiple topics in pharmacology, toxicology and substance abuse, he is a nationally certified specialist in poison information, as well as a prevention specialist.
Siegel was President of the Cincinnati Free Clinic where he initiated a pharmacy supply program and was responsible for volunteer pharmacist staffing. He also has experience both as a consultant and director of the Pharmacy of Central Community Health Board. He has done research in addictionology, headache treatment and alcohol detoxication.
Siegel's special interests and expertise are in inhalant abuse and toxicology. He has published in the medical literature, written editorials, given hundreds of local / state / national presentations, co-authored a trainer of trainer manual, consulted on several videos, participated in several planning summits and co-founded Parents for Education on Inhalant Abuse.
