Bio
As the Drug and Poison Information Center's Health Educator and Manager, Alicia Aumentado, RPh, CSPI, OCPS, delivers over 20 talks, seminars, workshops and trainings per year. Topics covered are:
- Substance abuse prevention and education
- Poison prevention and education
- Babysitting workshops
- Pharmacology
Aumentado has been a volunteer advocate to impaired pharmacists for 12 years. She has worked in the area of substance abuse prevention and education since 1987. She is a board member of Parents for Education on Inhalant Abuse (PEIA). Aumentado's interest with Inhalant Abuse dates back to 1983. In 2000 she was elected to be a co-chair for the Coalition for a Drug Free Greater Cincinnati Task Force and recently was asked to participate as a board member.
