The Endocrinology Division at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is committed to improving the quality of life for every child.
Our skilled medical team uses a multidisciplinary approach to diagnose, treat and manage children with a variety of conditions. The Endocrinology Division team is comprised of nine clinical faculty members, one PhD and one DVM. Clinical services are also provided by several nurse practitioners.
We offer a full range of modern diagnostic techniques geared specifically toward children. These include:
- Biochemical procedures for the measurement of circulating hormones
- Radiologic evaluation via CT, MRI and isotopic scanning

Nationally Recognized for Research
A research-oriented Endocrinology Division was founded at Cincinnati Children's in 1978 with strong interest in clinical endocrinology, including diabetes mellitus. The division is nationally recognized for research in diabetes mellitus, growth disorders and diabetes insipidus. In 1990 the division underwent expansion, increasing research and clinical activities.

The Family Resource Center staff offers the most current information in response to questions related to diagnoses, medical conditions or procedures. Convenient Clinic Locations
The number of patients seen by the division has risen considerably. This increased patient load has resulted in the establishment of additional clinics at Cincinnati Children's and at Outpatient Anderson, Outpatient Fairfield, Outpatient Northern Kentucky, Outpatient Mason, and Liberty Campus.
