Arianna suffers from eosinophilic esophagitis, and her family walked to raise money for this important program.

The Cincinnati Center for Eosinophilic Disorders at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center formed a team -- the CCED Ramblers -- to participate in the 2007 Cincinnati Walks for Kids. The event was a lot of fun -- and we raised a lot of money for the CCED! Our final total was $6,457.

As you may know, the Cincinnati Center for Eosinophilic Disorders provides treatment, care and support to families around the world who suffer from an eosinophilic disorder. The money raised by the CCED Ramblers, will help  support this important program and the research being done into new treatments and a cure.

Nearly 6,500 walkers -- patients, families and supporters of Cincinnati Children's -- came together for the second annual 5K walk. That's 2,000 more than last year! The event was held on Saturday, October 13, 2007, at Coney Island, and together we raised more than $550,000 for the patients and families cared for by Cincinnati Children's!

Mark your calendars for next year's walk. It will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at Coney Island.
