Family Education and Enrichment for Eosinophilic Disorders

The Cincinnati Center for Eosinophilic Disorders (CCED) is hosting its second education group for parents in the greater Cincinnati area who are facing an eosinophilic disorder. The CCED plans to host six support groups throughout the year. Each session of the "Family Education and Enrichment for Eosinophilic Disorders" group will begin with a brief talk by area experts on eosinophilic and chronic care conditions, followed by an open discussion for parents to share, express and support each other.

The Cincinnati Center for Eosinophilic Disorders (CCED) at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is working hard to provide more resources and support for patients and families.

The CCED created the new traveling journal specifically for patients and families. From Trunk to Tale: Eddy's Travelin' Journal focuses on Eddy the Elephant, who leaves his home in Africa to receive treatment at Cincinnati Children's for the disorder Eosinophilic Esophagitis. Eddy shared his story and now patients and family members are encouraged to share their stories as well.

The Travelin' Journal entries are meant to support children and their families as they live and grow with an Eosinophilic Disorder. Please check back often, as patients and family members will be sharing their stories — with a little help from Eddy.
