The Epilepsy Surgery Program in the Neurology Division at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is committed to improving the quality of life of children with recurring seizures. One of the most common disorders in the United States, epilepsy affects 2.7 million Americans. And of those with epilepsy, more than 1/3 continues to have seizures despite medication and vagal nerve stimulator treatment.

The Epilepsy Surgery team uses a multidisciplinary approach to surgically treat the many conditions that can lead to recurring seizures, including:
