For more information about epilepsy-related services or to schedule an appointment, please contact the Neurology Division at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, 513-636-4222 or 1-800-344-2462, ext. 4222. From 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday, please select from the following menu:
Option 1 -- To schedule, change or cancel an appointment
Option 2 -- To refill a prescription
Option 3 -- To speak with the receptionist or your child's nurse or doctor
The New Onset Seizure Clinic at Cincinnati Children's is located in Location A, on the eighth floor.
Canceling Appointments
Please call our office 24 hours before your child's appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to schedule other children who also need to see our doctors and nurse practitioners.
We will do our best to reschedule your child's appointment for the next available time. Rescheduled appointments will be seen in the General Neurology Clinic.
To cancel an appointment, please call 513-636-4222 and select option 1. For your convenience, you may cancel or schedule appointments from 8 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday.
Urgent / After-Hours Concerns
For urgent, after-hours concerns, call the Division of Neurology at 513-636-4222 or 1-800-344-2462, ext. 4222. Please give the answering service your:
- Name
- Child's name
- Phone number
- Physician's name
- Details of the problem
A physician will return your call as soon as possible. Please do not use this service for prescription refills or questions that can wait until the next business day.

Dial 911 if your child is experiencing a medical emergency.
