Overview
The Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center Health Policy and Clinical Effectiveness Division coordinates and improves the practice of evidence-based and cost-effective pediatric health care delivery.
Specific goals of the Health Policy and Clinical Effectiveness Division include:
- Effecting change in the culture of Children's Hospital towards evidence-based practice and cost-effective care
- Developing focused clinical effectiveness teams in targeted areas to identify, evaluate, and implement pediatric evidence-based care guidelines and other evidence-based tools that improve health-care delivery
- Monitoring outcome data for targeted populations and disease conditions
