  • Cincinnati Children's cardiac surgery program is highly-regarded for its outstanding outcomes, especially complete repair of complex defects in infancy.
  • Our hybrid cardiac catheterization lab is one of only a few highly specialized pediatric catheterization labs in the nation allowing combined catheter-based interventions and surgical procedures to be carried out in a single suite. Our interventional cardiologists have pioneered many catheter-based therapies to improve the outcomes of children with cardiac disease.
  • Our heart transplant surgeons have experience performing transplants across a broad age-spectrum from newborns to young adults with complex heart defects.
  • Our multidisciplinary diagnostic cardiomyopathy clinic – offered monthly – includes a cardiovascular geneticist to evaluate the etiology of cardiomyopathies associated with heart failure.
  • Our cardiology fellowship training program offers participation in state-of-the-art patient care and opportunities for research training in a variety of basic, clinical and translational science areas.
