Bio
Thomas D. Ryan, MD, PhD, was born and raised in Wichita, KS and graduated with a BS in Biological Sciences. In 1997 he began training in the MD/PhD program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and studied the molecular, cellular, and whole organ aspects of remodeling in a rat model of cardiac volume overload. His general pediatrics residency training took place at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center from 2006-2009. He is currently a fellow in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology and has an interest in clinical medicine and basic research.
