The Cardiology Clinic at the Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center provides outstanding care to children and young adults with suspected or present cardiovascular disease.
General clinics are held every day of the week at Cincinnati Children's Burnet Campus and also numerous times each month at a variety of our Neighborhood Locations.
Patient Advocates Reduce Stress
Specialty testing is available at the time of the initial visit if necessary – such as electrocardiograms, chest X-rays, Holter monitors, echocardiograms and exercise tests. A comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management plan are provided at the earliest possible juncture for the patient's better care and convenience. In many cases, return visits aren't necessary due to the point-of-service the Heart Institute provides during an initial consultation.
The Heart Institute is unique in offering patient / family advocates who help coordinate clinical tests, follow-up visits and discussions with doctors on complex issues. This family-friendly environment is designed to provide outstanding care coordination and ongoing reassurance for families. Continuity of care and follow-up with your cardiologist are important to us. You will be given the names and contact numbers of your child's outpatient clinical care team at your first clinic visit.
