Private Duty Nursing
The Private Duty Nursing staff from Home Care Services at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center provides high quality, specialized care at home for medically fragile infants, children and adolescents. Our private duty nursing staff offers skilled, compassionate nursing care to your child in the comfort of your home.
Our dedicated pediatric professionals understand the uniqueness of every family and are devoted to family-centered care to meet your child's special needs. We work closely with your primary care physician and specialists to ensure coordinated comprehensive care at home.
Care may be provided for as few as four hours or up to twenty four hours per day, based on your child's needs.

- Skilled shift nursing, in both the home and at school
- Case management
- Parent education
- Tracheotomy / Ventilator Management
- Oxygen therapy
- Parenteral / Enteral Nutrition
Referral Process
If you would like to use the services of the Private Duty Nursing staff from Cincinnati Children's, you or your physician may refer your child. We will then obtain a physician's order and determine your benefits. After the approved services are authorized, nursing services will begin.
