Overview
The Schubert-Martin Inflammatory Bowel Disease / IBD Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center offers patients and their families a focused, team approach to comprehensive, individualized diagnosis and treatment for patients with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
The multidisciplinary team at our center is able to draw from the latest diagnostic methods, research-based treatments and surgical approaches to develop effective, customized approaches for each patient. Our center focuses on all aspects of caring for those with Inflammatory Bowel Disease / IBD, including:
- Evaluation and ongoing therapy
- Consult and second opinions for challenging and complex cases
- Surgical treatment
- Quality-of-life issues
- Helping children and teens learn to self-manage their conditions
- Complex side effects of pediatric inflammatory bowel disease, such as growth and bone health
