Bio
Since 1981, Gretchen A. Vaughn, RN, MSN, CPON, has worked at Children's Hospital Medical Center of Cincinnati as a pediatric oncology nurse in various roles. She was a staff nurse in the Hematology/ Oncology Stem Cell Transplant unit for four years before earning a master's degree in Pediatric Oncology Nursing.
Gretchen then became an assistant head nurse/education coordinator for three years. Since 1989, she has worked as a clinical nurse specialist in the Hematology/Oncology Division.
In 1996, Gretchen finished her education as a pediatric nurse practitioner.
