Kudos

Kudos to MARIA WRIGHT and SONYA ZUMBIEL who co-chaired this year's Passport to Forever Silent Auction which was a huge success and raised over $14,000. Maria and Stewart Wright are the parents of Rachel (11), Alex (9), Sam (5) and Gabby (3). Gabby was adopted from Guatemala in January 2004. Sonya and Tom Zumbiel are the parents of Cassi (15), Elizabeth (7) and Marty (4). Marty was adopted from Guatemala in December 2003. They worked with Dr. Staat both before and after their adoptions and appreciated her objectiveness and expertise. When their children came home, Dr. Staat was wonderful at addressing concerns about the health of an internationally adopted child and helping them transition their new additions into their family. Maria and Sonya organized the 2005 Moms on a Mission Trip. They provided medications and supplies for a Guatemalan village, organized their pharmacy and delivered primary care to adults and children. Many thanks to Maria and Sonya for all their hard work and support of the IAC.
