Meet Kelly Hicks, RN, MSN

Kelly Hicks, RN, MSN, has been part of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center for more than 16 years. She came from the Diabetes Center in 2004 to become the IAC nurse coordinator. Kelly received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing, with a focus on Community Health, from the University of Cincinnati.
Kelly quickly became an essential member of the International Adoption Center (IAC) team. Her many responsibilities include working in the IAC clinic with Mary Allen Staat, MD, MPH, performing post-adoption medical evaluations, reviewing pre-adoption medical information, and assisting parents with medical and travel questions. Kelly says, "One of the fun aspects of the job is that I get to travel vicariously to different countries and learn about different cultures through the parents and children who use IAC services."
