The Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center International Adoption Center (IAC) suggests the following programs for families or prospective parents.

  • Supporting Adoptive Families Effectively (SAFE) -- Sponsored by Catholic Social Services of the Miami Valley, Dayton, Ohio, SAFE is a program designed to treat children and to educate and help families parenting children who suffer from Reactive Attachment Disorder.   • Elementary Chinese -- The University of Cincinnati (UC) offers courses in elementary Chinese on Wednesday nights from 6:40 to 9:20 p.m. that are worth three credit hours. Form ore information call the University of Cincinnati Foreign Language Department at 513-745-5645. Spanish, Russian and English as a Second Language classes are also offered.
