Bio
Bridget Kent, MA, CCC/SLP, is a speech-language pathologist at The Kelly O'Leary Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
In July 2002, Kent, joined Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and The Kelly O'Leary Center to provide speech and language assessment and treatment for children diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. She works collaboratively in the diagnostic process administering the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and providing families with strategies for intervention. She also leads groups for individuals diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome that focus on developing and enhancing social/pragmatic language skills.
Bridget received her Mater's Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Cincinnati. Kent, has training in a wide variety of approaches, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), TEACCH, and the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).
