The Pediatric Liver Care Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center believes in the comprehensive, compassionate and respectful care of every patient and family. Our entire team is sensitive to the emotional and physical needs of those we treat.
We provide patient and family education, beginning with the first visit. And we stay in touch with patients for years as we monitor their progress.
Families can take advantage of our newly renovated inpatient Pediatric Liver Care Center facility with such amenities as:
- A state-of-the-art setting featuring 11 beds dedicated to patients with complex liver disease, including liver transplant patients
- A comfortable, innovative "transition-to-home room" where families can stay in a home-like setting and become familiar with the care delivery necessary for their child once back home
- Amenities for families that include a workspace for laptop computers, microwave ovens, a washer and dryer, showers and pullout beds
- A treatment room in which procedures related to the inpatient care of your child can take place separate from your child's room
