Bio
Nada Yazigi, MD, completed her pediatric training at the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, Virginia. She subsequently finished a Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship with focus on liver disease and liver transplantation at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio. She then entered the public health service where she served at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr Yazigi's long term interest has been in liver disorders and transplantation, currently the focus of her clinical practice at Cincinnati Children's. Her research interests are inflammatory mechanisms and novel treatment modalities for children with acute liver failure.
Dr Yazigi directs the GI elective rotations for residents and students. She is also actively involved in the hospital wide Process Improvement Project, as team leader on the inpatient Clinical System Improvement.
