Liver Transplant Outcomes / Statistics
Tracking outcomes of pediatric liver transplants at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and sharing these statistics with our families is an important part of how we continually improve our delivery of care, resulting in a better quality of life for you and your child. Read stories about some of our patients.
Since the beginning of the program in 1986, the Cincinnati Children's Liver Care Center team has performed a total of 399 transplants, 47% of the recipients were <2 years of age and 46% of the organs were from technically variant donors.
