Median Length of Stay
Median length of stay means that 50% of our patients are hospitalized for 13 days or less, while the other 50% are hospitalized for more than 13 days following transplant.
The number of days that a patient remains in the hospital following a liver transplant depends greatly on how sick the child was before the transplant.
